Safestyle on course for success!

We have a core belief at Safestyle UK that our people are our most important asset and as such we have invested time and money in ensuring that our staff and senior management have the very best in training. We know our customers demand the very best double glazing products and service in return for investing their hard-earned money in Safestyle windows and doors, so we need to not only maintain our high standards, but constantly put improvements in place to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Whilst our replacement windows and doors, French doors and patio doors, are some of the best the UK has to offer, we are still continually improving them, as well as enhancing our range of lead and fret, bevelled and coloured glass, and profile colours. Safestyle are also leading the field in energy saving window technology.

Last year saw key senior personnel in our Installations department involved in Leadership Development Programmes and due to that success, this was expanded upon this year with Richard Parsons, our National Installations Manager, and Duncan Croasdale, Head of Installation Quality, both benefiting from further training and development to help raise our standards.

The Installations department’s aim is to strengthen the already strong management team, allowing for future development, diversity and succession planning. With this goal in mind Safestyle have been advocating Trainee Managers and at the start of this year our 2007 employee of the year Fay Bateman was given such an opportunity.

Within the first 6 months of 2008 year Fay developed her skills and recently received a further promotion into an Administration Management role. The key to this development was attending and ultimately gaining the “In Line Management” qualification. This course was arranged and funded by Safestyle – more proof that as a business we invest in our most important assets: people.

As well as highlighting Fay’s success and development within Installations we want to mention another gem in the department. Adele Payton transferred to Installations to work in Installations Technical Support Unit and instantly stood out from the crowd, proving not only to herself but her peers and senior management that she is more than capable and interested in making a difference in any area she operates in. As such Adele will now be working directly with Mr Pearson to start the process of delivering a multi-tasking environment. Adele too was successful in gaining the In Line Management qualification, showing us all that you have to be in it to win it!

So well done to everyone and also thank you for putting in copious amounts of your own time, we are proud of you all. Now that the Safestyle foundations are further strengthening with a view to improving our customer experience, and especially in what is proving to be a tough economic climate not only for the UK, but many parts of the world this year, we want to continue to ensure that Safestyle is the window to a brighter future.
