Safestyle’s latest technological innovation is an online one, the new interactive Door Viewer showcases an example from our standard range of residential doors in action, and in much more detail than you’ve ever seen before. If you’ve ever wondered about the intricacies of locking systems, or how a security hinge functions, or what role hook locks and roller cams play… or any other detail you can think of, well now you can take a look at exactly that!

Each door feature is accompanied by useful little snippets of interactive information to tell you how each component works, what relevance it has to the door functionality, and the design features that go to make up a Safestyle residential door.

You can take a closer look at the locking handle mechanism and see how it locks and unlocks, or view the other high security devices such as the deadbolt, claw locks and roller cams in action, as the mechanisms engage and disengage.

Another interesting feature is the security hinge, which you can view a close-up of it’s opening and closing movement, and if you click on the hinge itself you’ll see several small info icons which, when clicked on, will display various bits of information on various aspects of the hinge itself. This useful little info feature is available on most of the other door components in the viewer.
